Returns & Refunds Policy
This policy applies to orders placed at shop.klingspor.co.za and delivered in South Africa. Nothing in it limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA).
Return within 7 days of delivery
You may cancel your order and return the goods within 7 days after delivery, for any reason. Please return them unused, complete and in their original packaging. No restocking fee applies. You pay the direct cost of returning the goods.
This does not apply to goods made or specially ordered to your specifications, unless they are defective or do not match your order.
Damaged, incorrect or missing items
Please inspect your order on arrival and tell us in writing within 7 days of delivery about visible damage, incorrect items or short deliveries (14 days if you are a consumer under the CPA). We will correct the problem at our cost. No restocking fee applies.
Defective goods
If the CPA applies to your purchase and goods are defective or do not meet the required standard, you may return them within six months of delivery. We will collect or pay for their return and you may choose a repair, replacement or refund. No restocking fee applies.
If the CPA does not apply to your purchase, tell us in writing as soon as you find the defect. If the goods are confirmed defective, we will replace them or refund the applicable part of the price, pay for their return and charge no restocking fee.
The following are not defects: damage from improper use, installation, handling or storage; goods altered after delivery; goods subjected to abuse, abnormal use or accident; and slight variations in colour or appearance.
Goods that do not suit a stated purpose
If you told us in writing before buying that you needed the goods for a specific purpose and they do not meet it, tell us in writing within 7 business days of delivery. No restocking fee applies.
Other returns after 7 days
Any other return after the 7-day period needs our written agreement before you send the goods. Where we agree, the goods must be unused and in their original packaging, you pay the return delivery cost, and a restocking fee of 15% of the price paid for the returned goods (including VAT) applies. We will confirm the amount in writing before you send anything back.

- Give your order or invoice number, the reason for the return and photos where relevant.
- We will reply with your return instructions.

Refunds
Refunds are paid to your original payment method as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days after you cancel or we accept the return. We also refund the original delivery charge where the law requires it or where the return results from our error. Your bank or card provider may take extra time to show the refund.
